We are looking for a new part-time to full-time receptionist/admin support person to assist us with patient care and other public.

Some medical background is helpful as is a pleasant personality. Can you get along with people who are sometimes difficult due to their medical conditions while also maintaining an ability to keep on task in assisting medical and admin support?

This is a super rewarding job for the right candidate. An interest in social marketing is desired but not necessary.

Wage during training starts at $15/hour and will be increased by $3/hour upon mastering the job skills. Yearly reviews. While hours are negotiable we desire a 32 or more hour commitment per week. Part-time is possible for the right candidate.

The details:

Edgewater Natural Family Medicine is seeking Medical Receptionist / Administrative Support to work reception, patient communications, and administrative support for implementation by our multi-specialty practice that utilizes Naturopathic Medicine in combination with Functional Medicine for chronic disease, metabolic disease, pain management, and general practice by influencing the body’s natural healing processes.

This person will work with medical providers and patients to facilitate communications with patients and the fulfillment of health care outcomes. They will also work with the administrator and help patients with billing and order fulfillment.

Expectations :

Exhibit stellar customer service and professionalism to both internal/external clients through active listening and speaking skills. Ability to reason and apply your knowledge gained through schooling and/or 1st hand experiences to deal with problems involving patient care and interpersonal relationships surrounding a team environment. Performs general administrative tasks including keeping records or writing reports.* Have experience in basic bookkeeping data entry using QuickBooks accounting software. * Ability to communicate effectively with staff daily on patient health status and updates, scheduling, communications, and data entry. Exceptional Attendance and punctuality* Ability to maintain a professional relationship with the doctors and administrators. Other duties & special projects as assigned Ability to ask questions and seek clarification on policies and procedures.

Preferred Experience :

Supplement background Medical Terminology Phlebotomy Social Media promotions

Qualifications :

CPR certification required or ability to obtain. Edgewater will supply training. Customer Service Oral and written communication competency.

Dress Code: Dress Pants or Khakis with business casual shirts or appropriate business dress.

Must dress appropriately for the weather. Clean tennis shoes or closed-toed sandals are OK.

Hours: Part-time to start at $15/hour with raise after probationary period and successful completion of training. Possibility for promotion to full-time.
